Double-wall rigid candle boxes wholesale necessary or marketing gimmick?

I am trying to decide if double wall rigid packaging is actually worth the extra cost for my candle brand. For those of you who order candle boxes wholesale, do you really see fewer breakages and better customer feedback with this type of box, or does it mostly just look more premium without giving a real return on investment? I would really appreciate honest opinions from brands, printers, and even buyers who have seen both standard cartons and heavier rigid options in action.
